Founders

The Averas got their start in 2006 as Realtors with their family’s real estate business. In 2010 they decided to officially launch Listings in Motion to offer photography services to other agents in their office: Keller Williams Realty in Mount Pleasant. Word quickly spread and their company, Listings in Motion, has now photographed thousands of properties for over 85 brokerages and 500 agents from Hilton Head to Myrtle Beach and from Charleston to Western North Carolina. Their strong experience and established roots in the Charleston market have given them a tremendous advantage in how they now operate. When they are not running Listings in Motion, Chris and Rhea enjoy traveling and exploring nature with their three children (Isabella, Austin, and Zoe). Rhea loves all things creative and is often found in the garden, the kitchen, or planning the next fundraiser for the PTA. Chris, a Charleston native, also loves the great outdoors and may be found surfing the waves on IOP or riding the trails of Brevard on his mountain bike.

Danielle is a skilled professional with a passion for photography, tennis, and culinary arts. Her extensive experience makes her a valuable addition to the Listings In Motion team. Previously, Danielle successfully ran a real estate photography business in Columbus, Ohio, where she also photographed for reputable publications like the Columbus edition of REAL Producers Magazine. Her family moved to Mount Pleasant in 2022, and subsequently, Danielle joined Listings In Motion over the Summer of the same year. Danielle's unwavering dedication to her family is reflected in the quality of her work. As a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister, she consistently delivers exceptional results. Her contributions to the LIM team have been invaluable in maintaining our company's reputation for excellence.

A northern native, Jerry was brought up in New England and attended University of Rhode Island, where he met his wife, Amy. Jerry and Amy raised their two daughters in Rhode Island before making the move south. Enthralled and inspired by the beachy beauty of coastal Charleston, South Carolina, Jerry and Amy settled there for a few years. Recently, Amy and Jerry have uprooted again to explore life in Greenville, South Carolina. While they always seem to be traveling and moving, there's been another constant in Jerry's life beyond family: photography. Jerry has been behind a camera as long as he can remember- but began his professional photography practice in 2001. His 19 year career has been the most exciting of his life. From capturing some of the greatest moments in sports history to exploring new places for new scenic imagery, photography has always been once of Jerry's greatest loves.

Andy has been practicing photography for over 20 years focusing mainly on wildlife and travel photography. He has done real estate photography for 5 years, and has shot over 100 homes for Listings in Motion. Andy has done many portrait sessions and events, and has been published in the Post and Courier newspaper, Charleston Magazine, and various online outlets. He recently won an award from the Berkeley Electric Coop who will place two of his submissions in this year's Charleston,SC regional annual calendar. What Andy enjoys most about real estate photography are the people he meets, as well as helping them make their homes look beautiful and sell quickly.

Des graduated from the Art Institute of Charleston in 2010. She has been photographing professionally since 2008. Her background includes photographing and photo assisting military members across the United States, photographing weddings nationally, and photographing portraiture for all occasions. Her work has been featured in publications such as Bombshell Magazine UK and recognized by College Photographer of the Year. Her inspiration for real estate photography began when selling her first house and capturing it to be listed. After the success of the house being under contract within a week, she wanted to photograph real estate in its best light. Des’ola joined Listings in Motion in May 2020.
